Road Fogies: a couple of fogies traveling with their poodle

On the way to Nashville, TN

On Monday, April 6, we left Cedar Key for the next leg of our journey. We were going to Nashville, so Tom could volunteer at the NRA National Convention. I had some other activities in mind. `We over nighted at a Cabela’s in north Georgia and had a short day on Tuesday, arriving at our campground in the early afternoon. This left plenty of time to walk the girls, unload the truck and relax. Most of our route was very scenic, the mountains of north Georgia and middle Tennessee where bursting with new life. The trees were that bright green you only see in early spring, the flowering trees were stunning purples and reds and the wisteria was twining its purple blooms through the trees. The one negative is the stretch of I 75 from the Florida border to Macon Georgia. The roadside billboards along this stretch are innumerable, especially those for Magnolia Plantation and Adcock Pecans. Just unbelievable!

Wednesday Tom took off for downtown Nashville and the girls and I clean this RV and took several walks to the little dog park to play catch. It was a peaceful day.
