Road Fogies: a couple of fogies traveling with their poodle

To (Two) Good Friends

Spending time with good friends is one of the best things life can offer. Tonight we had that chance, our friends from Seminole Campground, Gayle and Don Pietz, arrived in Nashville for a few days so dinner and an evening of county music we in order. Where would four winter residents of SW Florida go for dinner I ask you? Margaritaville, of course! Dinner was great fish and chips for Tom and fish tacos for the rest accompanied our fancy boat drinks. Some reminiscing about our Winter (did we only leave 2 weeks ago) and catching-up on friends made for great conversation. Now for some more music! We headed up Broadway to “The Stage" a typical Nashville Bar with a good band playing a wide variety of music. We asked for something old and were rewarded with “Rock Around the Clock", later the fiddle player did a good job with “The Devil When Down to Georgia". These were a few of the favorites they played. All to soon we said good-bye, return to our campgrounds and begin preparations for the next leg of our journeys. Don and Gayle are returning to the Indianapolis area to welcome a new grandchild and Tom and I are going west into Arkansas to mine diamonds.
