We are still in the prep stages for this new adventure. Today we hooked the truck up to the motorhome for a test run. Let's see: hook the truck to the tow bar, then the safety chains, then the wire for the truck lights, now the Break Buddy. It is really more complicated than I expected but I guess it will get easier with practice.
At last we were ready to take to the road. We only went a few miles down the Interstate but all seemed to in working order. Tom was concerned the Break Buddy was not working and when we got back we realized it was not in the proper position. We will have to adjust that. It was windy today, some of the gusts push us around more than I expected. Over all it was a successful trial run.
This was my first ride in the MH and I discovered that my feet don't reach the floor in the passenger's seat. I will need a footstool to be comfortable. :) I loved the view from the big wide windows and being up high makes it even better.
We then took it to the Flying J for its first fill up on our dime. Did I say dime...well it was a bit more than that.
I think this vehicle needs a name. I can't keep calling it the RV or MH or it. Any suggestions?
